1) Software Design


The successful applicant will join the CAEN software Development Team as Junior Software Engineer. He will be responsible for software development in C, C# or Java for Windows and Linux operating systems.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Development of software for control and configuration of electronic instrumentation for nuclear measurement solutions.
  • Software testing and validation

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Physics (laurea magistrale)
  • Recent graduate
  • Good Knowledge of C/C++, C# and Java language.
  • Good Knowledge of Windows and Linux O.S.
  • Knowledge of Visual Studio, Netbeans and Eclipse
  • English language (written and spoken).
  • Ability to:
      • Work effectively in a group development environment
      • Problem-solve effectively
      • Persistently drive projects to successful completion
  • Available to international travels

Preferential requirements:
  • Italian Mother language
  • Living in the province of Lucca, Pisa, Livorno, Massa

2) Sales and Marketing Division / Funded Projects Division

Description

To plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing quality of delivered product and service.

The new employee will refer directly to a Senior Key Account Manager and will be trained for an appropriate time to perform the necessary tasks.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • generate and qualify leads
  • source and develop client referrals
  • ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • assist the regional sales team in the development of accounts, including technical and feasibility meetings
  • develop technical and commercial documentation for answering market surveys and invitations to tender
  • assist the project manager in the coordination of custom project and R&D activities related to the assigned accounts
  • generate technical requirements for the R&D team for new products and custom developments
  • develop and perform technical presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
  • produce products related documentation, including Application Notes, presentation and guides
  • schedule sales activity
  • populate, increase and maintain a customer database
  • develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
  • make sales calls to new and existing clients
  • negotiate with clients
  • develop sales proposals
  • conduct product training
  • maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
  • ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • follow up on sales activity
  • monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
  • carry out market research and surveys
  • participate in sales events
  • monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

Requirements
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Fluent in Italian (written and spoken)
  • Excellent in English language (written and spoken)
  • Ability to:
      • Work effectively in a group development environment
      • Problem-solve effectively
      • Persistently drive projects to successful completion
  • Available to travel internationally, even for extended periods (tipically 1/2 weeks continuously)

  • Master Degree in Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering (laurea magistrale)
  • Italian Mother language
  • Living in the province of Lucca, Pisa, Livorno, Massa
  • Knowledge of project management techniques
  • Participation in collaborative R&D projects
  • Knowledge of power electronics
  • Knowledge of sensors read-out electronic instrumentation and techniques
