A325DB

Overview

The A325DB is a 1-meter cable that converts a BNC connection to a DB9 interface. It is designed to power the A325 module (DC/DC power supply) using CAEN power supplies intended for preamplifiers. The cable connects the BNC connector of the A325 to the DB9 connector on the power supplies, routing the BNC signal to the +12V line (pin 4 of the DB9 connector).

Note: The A325 is a DC/DC power supply designed for the A1421 product (a charge-sensitive preamplifier, shaper, and discriminator).

The A325DB can be powered using the following devices:

• DT5423 – Quad Linear Desktop Power Distributor
• N5424 – Quad NIM Power Distributor for Preamplifiers
• V5425 – Quad VME Power Distributor
• Amplifier N968 (via a D-type female connector on the rear panel)
