The Discriminators family provides high-performance timing and threshold discrimination for detector and trigger systems, supporting both leading-edge and constant-fraction techniques. Designed for fast analog signals from scintillators, PMTs, semiconductor detectors, and other radiation sensors, these modules deliver precise timing extraction, low jitter, and reliable noise rejection across a wide dynamic range.
Available in NIM and VME formats, they offer multi-channel architectures with individually adjustable thresholds, programmable output widths, and flexible logic features such as veto, gate, OR, majority, and current-sum outputs. With options for high-rate operation, sub-nanosecond timing performance, and configurable operating modes, the family enables accurate trigger generation and timing measurements in complex experimental setups.
