General conditions of Sales, Delivery and Warranty
This document sets out the terms that govern all supplies of goods and services by CAEN SpA to its customers, distributors, and partners. It defines the conditions under which orders are placed, confirmed, and fulfilled, and applies to every commercial transaction with CAEN.
The conditions cover quotations and their validity, the procedure for placing and confirming orders, delivery and shipping terms, warranty coverage, and limitations of liability. By submitting a purchase order, the Customer accepts these conditions as an integral part of the contract.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CAEN SpA, as data controller, collects and processes the personal data of customers and visitors of its websites, in compliance with the GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679). It applies to www.caen.it and its associated domains.
It describes the types of data collected, including navigation data and cookies, and the data users provide directly through contact forms, newsletter subscriptions, and photos or videos taken at events. It also sets out the purposes of processing, the security measures adopted, the parties who may access the data, the conditions for any transfer abroad, and the data retention periods.

Code of Conduct
CAEN SpA’s Code of Conduct sets out the ethical principles and rules of behaviour that guide the company’s activities, in line with the framework of Italian Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 on corporate responsibility and crime prevention. It applies to directors, employees, collaborators, agents, and anyone who acts in the name or on behalf of CAEN.
The Code defines the company’s commitment to compliance with the law, honesty, transparency, impartiality and equal opportunities, confidentiality, fair competition, and respect for people and the environment. It also covers conflicts of interest, relations with public administration and institutions, the management of gifts and benefits, human resources, privacy, protection of corporate assets, and relations with the media.
Compliance is monitored by a Supervisory Board, which oversees the application of the Code and reports any violations. The document also describes the related disciplinary and sanction system.

End User License Agreement (EULA)
This End User License Agreement governs the use of CAEN’s software and firmware (the “CAEN SwFw”). By installing, using, or distributing the software or firmware, the user accepts its terms. CAEN remains the owner of all intellectual property rights in the software and firmware.
The agreement grants a limited, non-exclusive licence to install and use the software and firmware on CAEN products or a personal computer for the user’s own non-commercial use. It sets out the main restrictions, which include no reverse engineering, decompiling, or modification, no resale, redistribution, or sub-licensing without written permission, and no removal of copyright notices. It also defines the conditions for making backup copies and for transferring the licence.
The software and firmware are provided “as is”, without warranties, and the agreement describes the related limitations of liability, indemnification obligations, and the terms for support and updates, which CAEN provides at its own discretion. The licence may be terminated in case of breach, after which the user must delete all copies.
The agreement is governed by Italian law, with any dispute resolved by arbitration in Milan.
