Easy characterization and debug of the ASIC
The Weeroc Testboards family provides dedicated hardware platforms for the evaluation, characterization and integration of Weeroc front-end ASICs within laboratory and detector-based environments. Each board is specifically designed around a given ASIC, offering direct access to analog and digital I/O, internal monitoring nodes and configurable biasing interfaces in order to support detailed functional verification and performance optimization.
These compact systems integrate on-board data acquisition electronics based on FPGA and high-resolution ADCs, enabling direct connection to real detectors and external high-voltage bias lines. The architecture allows signal injection, calibration and debugging in realistic experimental conditions, making the boards suitable both for ASIC validation and for early system-level prototyping. Dedicated control software and firmware environments provide full access to programmable parameters, simplifying detector coupling, characterization campaigns and DAQ configuration.
