CAEN S.p.A. is seeking a motivated and skilled Production Test Electronic Technician to join our Product Test team. Join us and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in the field of nuclear and particle physics instrumentation. The selected candidate will be part of a team of engineers and technicians dedicated to failure analysis and production testing activities.


Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform functional and performance tests on analog and digital electronic boards.
  • Troubleshoot and identify failures or non-conformities at the component and system level.
  • Support design and development teams by providing feedback on test results and production issues.
  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and mechanical teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, reports, and procedures.
  • Contribute to the improvement and automation of testing processes and setups.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma in Electronics or equivalent technical background.
  • Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit theory.
  • Experience (even basic) in soldering and micro-soldering activities.
  • Proficiency in using electronic laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work within defined timelines.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written).

Preferential Qualifications

  • Knowledge of C/C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Familiarity with electronic design tools (e.g., Altium Designer).
