CAEN S.p.A. is seeking a motivated and qualified Electronic Test Engineer to join the Product Test team at our Portoferraio site (Isola d’Elba). The selected candidate will contribute to the development and validation of cutting-edge technologies in the field of nuclear and particle physics instrumentation, working within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians. The role offers opportunities for professional growth, with the potential to evolve into a coordination position within the team.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and performance tests on analog and digital electronic boards.
- Carry out troubleshooting activities and identify failures or non-conformities at component and system level.
- Contribute to product validation and industrialization activities.
- Interface with design teams (hardware, firmware, and mechanical) to support continuous improvement of product quality and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to testing activities and procedures.
- Contribute to the improvement and automation of test processes and setups.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering (or related field).
- Solid understanding of electronic circuit theory.
- Experience in testing and debugging analog and digital electronic circuits.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented attitude and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to quality and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of C/C++ and Python programming languages.
- Familiarity with electronic design tools (e.g., Altium Designer).
