DiscoveRAD Power Modules

The PM18650 is the dedicated rechargeable Lithium-ion power module for the DiscoveRAD. It provides more than 6 hours of continuous operation and can be swapped in seconds to ensure uninterrupted field use. A press of the test button lights up to four LEDs showing remaining charge at a glance, while the built-in USB socket allows recharging from any standard power source.

The PM1 Cargo is a battery holder that powers the DiscoveRAD using four commercially available AA cells, making it the go-to power solution wherever recharging is not an option. Compatible with high-energy Lithium/Iron Disulfide and NiMH batteries, it slots directly into the DiscoveRAD’s battery compartment like any other power module. All four cells should always be replaced at the same time with fresh batteries of the same type.
