CAEN S.p.A. is seeking a motivated and skilled Production Test Electronic Technician to join our Product Test team. Join us and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in the field of nuclear and particle physics instrumentation. The selected candidate will be part of a team of engineers and technicians dedicated to failure analysis and production testing activities.

- Contract: direct employment with a 12-month fixed-term contract.
- Requirements: High school diploma in Electronics or equivalent background. A Bachelor’s degree will be considered an advantage.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and performance tests on analog and digital electronic boards.
- Troubleshoot and identify failures or non-conformities at the component and system level.
- Support design and development teams by providing feedback on test results and production issues.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and mechanical teams to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, reports, and procedures.
- Contribute to the improvement and automation of testing processes and setups.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma in Electronics or equivalent technical background.
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit theory.
- Experience (even basic) in soldering and micro-soldering activities.
- Proficiency in using electronic laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, power supplies, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work within defined timelines.
- Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of C/C++ and Python programming languages.
- Familiarity with electronic design tools (e.g., Altium Designer).
