Overview
The GAMON-Diver cable range provides the critical link between the submerged spectrometer and the surface unit, transmitting both power and Ethernet data through a single rugged marine cable. Each cable is equipped with a dedicated strain relief system – including snap hooks, eyebolts and locking nuts – that ensures a mechanically secure and watertight connection even under the stress of towed or current-exposed deployments.
The range covers every operational scenario: marine cables in 20 m, 50 m and 90 m lengths for scuba diver or ROV surveys, static marine cables in 5 m, 20 m and 50 m for buoy-mounted or fixed long-term monitoring installations, and cable reels in 2 m, 50 m and 100 m configurations for flexible, managed deployments.
A 3 m laboratory cable completes the range for bench testing and system integration. All cables share the same color-coded, guided connectors — red on the spectrometer side, black on the surface unit side — making the connection procedure fast, intuitive and error-proof in the field.
