The QDC (Charge-to-Digital Converter) family provides high-precision, multi-channel charge digitization solutions for nuclear and particle physics experiments. Designed for VME-based data acquisition systems, these modules convert detector charge signals into digital data with excellent linearity, low noise, and high throughput. They feature fast charge-to-amplitude conversion, 12-bit ADC digitization, multi-event buffering, and flexible triggering and gating options, enabling accurate measurement across a wide dynamic range.
With support for advanced data transfer modes, zero suppression, and live insertion, QDC modules integrate seamlessly into complex DAQ architectures. Their high channel density and robust performance make them well suited for applications such as calorimetry, photodetector readout, and general charge measurement in demanding experimental environments.
