* with no termination: output range = ± 4V, Gain = 2.
The CAEN Mod. V1250 is a 16 channel differential to single ended signal converter in a 1-unit wide VME 6U form factor. It provides differential inputs (34-pin 2.54 mm header, Zdiff = 100 Ω) and single ended outputs (coaxial LEMO, Rout = 50 Ω).
Although the V1250 is a general purpose converter, it is best suited for the conversion of signals coming from charge sensitive preamplifiers, such as the A1442 (typ. rising edge > 10 ns). The analog bandwidth is therefore set to 30 MHz in order to optimize the signal to noise ratio.
