The Readout Software family provides a comprehensive suite of applications designed to configure, control and acquire data from CAEN digitizers and acquisition boards across a wide range of experimental scenarios. These tools support both single-board and distributed multi-board systems, enabling synchronized acquisition, real-time monitoring and advanced waveform analysis through graphical or console-based environments.
The software ecosystem includes open-source and customizable platforms with modular architecture, allowing users to implement flexible acquisition workflows, manage configuration parameters and perform on-line signal processing. Features such as waveform visualization, spectral analysis, rate and noise monitoring, and FFT-based diagnostics enable detailed detector characterization and system tuning.
